About

This pretty blue bag was made by Mary Vinovskis, a member of the Pleaty Back-Bag test group.  One thing that makes this bag striking is the contrast between the indigo color batik cottons.  It is especially effective using the lining fabric for the cord-end fabric buds.

This bag provides an opportunity to use some of those gorgeous gradations of hand-dyed cotton fabrics.  It takes a little more time for the planning stage, but that is half the fun.  Twelve different hand-dyed colors were used for the bag plus the lining fabric.
